What to expect after you reserve your beef.
Timeline & Curing
After processing, the beef is dry-aged for approx 10-14 days to enhance flavor. Following this, it is cut and wrapped then froze. Your order will be ready 2-3 weeks after the processing date.
Cutting & Wrapping
All beef is professionally cut and vacuum-sealed. Every cut is clearly labeled for easy organization in your home freezer.
Pickup Logistics
We will contact you when it is time to send in your cut sheet, when processing payment is needed and to inform you of the day beef will be ready for farm pickup in Carleton, MI. A Quarter Beef needs approximately two large coolers for transport.
Key Expectations
We will be in contact the entire step of the way through the process. Expect text messages from us keeping you up to date on information regarding your beef when it gets closer to the date of processing. Ensure you have 3-5 cubic feet of freezer space ready for a Quarter Beef. We recommend an upright or chest freezer for optimal storage.
